Family Beach Haven in Coastal Paradise

We recently stayed here for a four-day weekend and found the property to be an excellent base for a family getaway in Torquay. The townhouse is tucked away in a quiet location yet remains highly convenient. It’s an easy walk to the beach and within close proximity to a great range of family-friendly restaurants, cafés, and bars. From a location standpoint, it strikes the right balance between peaceful and accessible, making it ideal for exploring the broader Surf Coast. The home itself is well laid out, clean, and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen is genuinely functional—not just “adequate”—with everything required to prepare proper meals, and the eight-seater dining table comfortably accommodated our group. The outdoor patio and BBQ area were a standout and well suited to relaxed family dinners. Bedrooms were comfortable and appropriately sized, with bedding that supported a good night’s sleep across the stay. Having an ensuite off the master bedroom, along with a well-stocked main bathroom, made day-to-day logistics easy. Wi-Fi, heating/cooling, and parking were all as advertised and worked without issue. What really sets this property apart is how family-friendly it is. The availability of a high chair, portable cot, and toddler seating removes a lot of friction for families travelling with young children. Pet-friendly accommodation is also a major plus, and the house rules are clear, reasonable, and well communicated. Communication with the host was straightforward and professional, with clear instructions provided before and during the stay. Overall, this property delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-equipped, and family-focused stay in a prime coastal location. We would confidently recommend it to families or small groups looking for a relaxed Torquay base and would happily stay again.

We loved staying here with our kids. There was plenty of toys & movies for the kids to be entertained. And loved the location of the house. We will be back again!

Our first time travelling without our caravan and we couldn't have asked for a better property. The location of this property was perfect, it may not be beachfront but wow - set back from the main road and in a beautifully quiet neighbourhood. It was close to everything - a beautiful 20 minute stroll to the dog friendly beach, all the outlets on your doorstep, a few minutes drive to anything else you needed or wanted. The property itself was modern, fresh, beautiful crisp linen, tidy, neat and clean, welcoming and homely. A beautiful yard perfect for any size dog + the kids! The communication between the property managers was prompt, friendly and personable. Our kids and our furbaby were so calm and content at this property, as were we - it was brilliant. We are hoping we can stay at this property many times in the near future - it was just amazing.
